If you open a credit card, but don’t use it or don’t carry a debt balance. I read the more inquiries on your credit score, the lower it goes. I found a deal where I can get free stuff through Discover card just by opening a new card.Thanks!
I’m applying for a discover student card and I have to fill out “address when you are at school” and “permanent address”. I’m going to college in August and don’t know my dorm address yet. What should I put under “address when you are at school”?

Was sent credit card application by MBNA Bank, replied to it, was denied due to “too many credit obligations”. I have 7 cards with a ZERO balance on all of them, a new car that cost $42,000, financed thru BMW put $28,000 down, and a monthly mortgage. What do they (MBNA) consider “too many credit obligations”? What gives with these idiots?
I received a lot of on-line offers to appy credit cards. ?????????????????. Discover card rejected my application, I am finding some other possiblities. ?????????n’t know if it’s safe to apply one over the the internet giving out some very important personal information. If yes, which one would you recommend? No annual fee, service charges, no hidden cost…thanks

Ok so I am super excited I was approved for this card. I applied online, and I was accepted. I was in so much shock because I have no credit, and other credit cards always denied my applications. anyway when I was accepted they gave me a number to call to verify everything on the application. i spoke to a live rep and he told me the terms and conditions and i will have my card by friday. it all seemed to good to be true, i hope it isn’t. They gave me a $250 credit limit. And when i get the card I have to call to activate it and I can start using it and building some credit. So is this a good credit card to help establish good credit?
