We have found a cheap hotel half board for 2 nights for 2 adults at an amazing £38 through a company called Alpha Rooms,normally it is at £80 but for a few hours only it was at this very cheap price. I compared the price with another internet operator called Travel republic who had the same great deal so I booked it.
After putting in all my details and credit card details etc it said Sorry but the booking is not yet confirmed and they would let me know within 48 hours. the problem is it is booked for this weekend.
After 30 minutes the price on both websites had gone back up to £80 so this really cheap offer must have only been for a couple of hours.

Whats going on? Am I likely to get the room? I know for a fact the hotel isnt full because I just phoned the hotel and they have plenty of rooms. If Alpha rooms had sold their allocations then surely it wouldnt still be available online and it is as we speak.

What are the chances of me still getting the room and things being comfirmed?
