I am 17 and I was wondering if there are any credit card offers for people under the age of 18, without parent consent?
Do I need a credit score for an apartment?

You probably don’t want one.
It’s pretty easy to forget just how much money you spent and how much money you actually have.

Like some of the other posters said, the only card you can get is a pre-paid one onto which you have to actually deposit money… so it works exactly like a debit card. Or you can get a shared account with one of your parents.

If you or your parents are filty rich, you will get credit cards easily before you are 18. Otherwise, dont get involved with credit cards, Im paying 20% interest on $25,000, so dont do it.

No, and the minimum age without guarantor will go up to 21 in a few months, if memory serves correctly.
You will not be able to rent an apt. until you are 18 regardless of credit score unless you have been legally emancipated in your state.

If you need to pay stuff online and/or use it with paypal you just need to be 14 to get a prepaid card like this one:
Usually yes, you need a credit score for an apartment.
If you have the money for a deposit you can also get a secured credit card like this one:
the point being, the more you use it the more your credit score goes up.
