Why do credit card companies offer you a pre-approved card and later on decline your application when nothing in your credit history has changed from the time you got the letter to the time you sent it in?

Why is online reservation cheaper than travel agency reservation? Is it guaranteed and safe? ?

I have made 2 separate bookings on 2 different resorts in Boracay. The fare quoted to me by the travel agent is quite high compared to the on line booking I have just done, my only concern is since I have posted my credit card details. Is there a possibility that they can use those details to use my card fraudulently? I made my booking on asiatravel.com
Is there a credit card that lets you save multiple checking accounts online to pay off balance?

In other words, sometimes I want to pay my credit card balance with checking account 1, and other times with checking account 2. Every time I want to change which account to use, I have to re-enter the routing number and account number. I want to be able to store this info for more than one checking account so it is easier to pay off the balance with either account.
medical bills have been a burden for awhile, so now that they are paid is there a good credit card that you can apply for online to build your credit up again?
Ok Where do i begin, I have a truck and a car on my credit. I started off good. As in paying for them, and then i feel into a deep depression.
Well i let the bank come get the car, but i still have the truck. Its been written off by the main company but its being handled by a second party collections agency. They still send me letters from time to time. And it read something like. Pay the amount or turn the vehicle in. Well i have failed to do so. I have credit cards and any other type of past due bill on my credit. The crazy thing is, the coast is under 40,000.00.
Compared to others my money matters are rather small but big enough to me and so much of a bother that i want to rid my self of them. Now due to nobodies fault but my own granted. I just want feed back on what to do.
I forgot to mention that, i have had the truck almost 2 year to date from my first repo letter. I have not lived at the current address that they where looking for the vehicle. Im looking at this from a realistic stand piont, i cant get a 700 nor a 720 ON MY CREDIT. But i just want it to look decent rather than a credit company looking at my credit report amd laughing me out of the office. But please only constructive advice. I dont need negative, please…….
Ad yes i do have a jobm i bring home any where from 800 to 1000.00 per week. So its not a matter of me not being able to afford the things i have. Its me making bad choices in my past that are here in my future.

My credit has about 3 maybe 4 things on it that aren’t so good. I’ve been trying to get a credit card and build my credit up but I only get approved for prepaid cards. They want me to deposit $300-$500 a month for 3 months into a savings account for them and then I get approved to use that card. If I had that kind of money, I wouldn’t need the damn card in the 1st place, lol. Any suggestions? please?

I am responsible with my finances now…..All that from before was when I was a single mother of 4 very young kids and trying to do the best that I could. So I don’t think you should say that I’m basically irresponsible. All I wanna do is pay for the new engine my van needs. And then have it paid for and make payments. I can’t afford to pay for the whole thing at one time.

If I can transfer the balance to another card then transfer it back with a purchase check that guarantees 8% APR for the life of the balance that will help a lot, but the problem is no credit card company will give me another card because of my debt compared to my income and I doubt a bank will lend me the money for the same reason, but I just need some way to get 10k quick and pay it back in a few days time, any suggestions?

Hey guys… thought I’d ask this here, I got a credit card about two years ago and just about four months ago I hit a financial road block and have been unable to make much payments. They sent me to collections recently and they have (collection agency), understandably, been calling a lot, however I explained my situation many times but they do not stop calling.
Just recently they have been calling my girlfriend’s house and I am not sure HOW they got her number. Her number is not listed which is even weirder. They call once every two weeks or so though. I did not put it on my card application because I was not with her at the time.
Do you know how this collection agency coulda got her number? And how I could get them to stop calling there?
I am a college student who is trying to get a credit card. I just recieve a copy of my credit report, that I ordered because I have been turned down for credit twice. I have six inquiries that are on my report, all of which are correct. Three of which is from citibank (from a checking, savings and e-saving account) I opened with them. I did not know that they did credit checks before approving a savings of checking account. Anyway with the six inquiries that I have and two student loans both issued on 9/2006 and a 579 credit score. What credit cards if any can I get?

I have a credit card with a very high limit but a very low balance. If they closed it then my available credit to balance ratio would shoot up to about 60% which is horrible. I do know that I have to stay active with purchasing and paying it first and foremost though.
